This app leverages modern web technologies, including React and Supabase (a cloud-based database server leveraging Postgres, PostGIS, and SQL), for an interactive web map where users can submit and view wading bird sightings in Everglades National Park. The app features a dynamic map that allows users to explore points of interest, filter sightings by species and date, and contribute their own observations. Designed to provide an engaging and user-friendly experience for bird enthusiasts and park visitors, the app helps users track bird sightings, understand species distribution, and contribute to citizen science efforts. I developed the app as part of my GEOG 777 coursework at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
